ESL One Genting 2018 is back. The Genting Arena of Stars located on the very top of Malaysia's Genting Titiwangsa Mountain hill resort, 6,000 feet above sea level, welcoming 16 world class teams competing for first ever Malaysian Dota 2 Minor, the ESL One Trophy.
World's best Dota 2 teams and players from over the world again compete in a Dota 2 eSport tournament unlike any other. Arena of Stars' ESL One Genting 2018, about an hour car ride from KL, now backed with so many main sponsors, put the players in front of enthusiastic audiences, cheering them on their attempt to secure the ESL One Trophy and the glory, and of course USD400,000 pool prize money that comes with it.
There are five pro Dota 2 Malaysian players this year, all are millionaires now:
1. Tue 'Ah Fu' Soon Chuan. LGD. Play in China now.
2. Zheng 'MidOne' Yeik Nai. Secret. SEA fastest zero to pro player ever.
3. Kam 'Moon' Boon Seng. Mineski. Sponsored by Digi.
4. Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung. Mineski. Highest earning Dota 2 player in Malaysia.
